Ridge element in yellow, turquoise and blue enamelled stoneware, representing Guandi seated in majesty on a tiger skin, dressed in armor, shoulders and calves covered with chimera heads. On a base. H. 43 cm (Small restorations of use, chips, scratches and small lack to the headdress) PROVENANCE Private Parisian collection of Mr. L. constituted on three generations since the end of the 19th century. Possible invoice dated November 13, 1930 at Léon WANNIECK, 1 rue Saint-Georges in Paris (75009), recalling an invoice dated March 18, 1929. Fourth line mentioning "23021 - God of the war Ming cookie".
