CHINE XVIIIe SIÈCLE, PÉRIODE KANGXI (1661 - 1722)

Pair of quadrangular cookie and sancai enamel baluster vases, finely decorated in light relief with butterflies, lingzhi, floral compositions. Handles spat out by heads of fantastic animals. H. 21,9 cm (Restorations, small enamel chips) PROVENANCE Private Parisian collection of Mr. L. constituted on three generations since the end of the 19th century. Possible invoice dated November 13, 1930 at Léon WANNIECK, 1 rue Saint-Georges in Paris (75009), recalling an invoice of March 20. Twelfth line mentioning "21907 - Pair of vases with Ming handles". Reminder of the invoice dated March 30, 1926, first line : "21907 - 1 Pair of vases with engraved handles green background yellow Ming decoration 2 wooden bases".
