Four bisque and sancai enamel subjects, representing Liu Hai, the god of the scholars, children forming incense holders, and a figure holding a tablet. H. 11 to 19.5 cm (Restorations, chips, missing parts) PROVENANCE Private Parisian collection of Mr. L. built up over three generations since the late 19th century. ▲ The smaller figure bears a label "Pierre Saqué, 6 rue St George" "10362 beltp". ▲▲The larger figure bears a "Pierre Saqué, 6 rue St George" "3883" label.
