CHINE XVIIIe SIÈCLE, PÉRIODE KANGXI (1661 - 1722)

Two statuettes in bisque and sancai enamels, representing Guanyin seated in royal relaxation (lalitasana), one holding a child in her arms and a flycatcher, the other a vase and a lotus. H. 18.5 cm - 19 cm (Misses) PROVENANCE Private Parisian collection of Mr. L. constituted on three generations since the end of the 19th century. Possible invoice dated November 13, 1930 at Léon WANNIECK, 1 rue Saint-Georges in Paris (75009), recalling an invoice of April 9, 1929. Sixth line mentioning "16652 - Divinity with child [...]ing". Possible invoice for the second one, dated March 30, 1926 at Léon WANNIECK, 1 rue Saint-Georges in Paris (75009). Third line mentioning "1 Kwan Yin on yellow and green Ming cookie base".
