Noces. Paris, Au Sans Pareil, 1928; in-12, red half-maroquin with bands, untrimmed, gilt head, cover and spine preserved. Collective edition, partly original. One of 105 copies off the market; this one on vellum paper. Autograph letter signed in violet ink: "To Madame de Bassiano, with the homage of Pierre Jean Jouve. June 1928." The Princess of Bassiano had financed the review Commerce (1924-1932), founded by Paul Valéry and Léon-Paul Fargue; Jouve collaborated to it. Important poetic collection of Pierre-Jean Jouve; in the Postface, he expresses the sense of his "conversion" and his desire to deny all the previous works.
