The Princess of Bassiano had financed the review Commerce (1924-1932), founded by Paul Valéry and Léon-Paul Fargue; Jouve collaborated to it.
Important poetic collection of Pierre-Jean Jouve; in the Postface, he expresses the sense of his "conversion" and his desire to deny all the previous works.
