London, Colburn & Paris, Tröttel et Wurtz, 1816; in-12 of VII, 228 pp, fawn calf, smooth spine decorated, red morocco title page, gilt fillet framing the boards, decorated edges, gilt edges (English binding of the time). Genuine first edition, printed and edited in London. The London edition is of great rarity: three copies are known in public libraries: British Library, Harvard and Oxford. The Bibliothèque nationale de France does not possess it. The first Parisian edition, published almost at the same time, was printed by Crapelet from the proofs of the English edition.
