In addition to being a friend of Albert Uderzo, Alain Duchêne is above all passionate about the career of this great author. He has devoted four books to him in almost twenty years. This friendship is reflected in the cover of the monograph published by Éditions du Chêne in 2002. Albert Uderzo drew the plethora of characters that make up his career: Asterix and Michel Tanguy, of course, but also Oumpah-Pah, Jehan Pistolet, Luc Junior and all the others.
