The upper part decorated with an oil on canvas depicting Tsar Peter the Great during a storm on Lake Ladoga, after the original work of Charles-Auguste Steuben (1788-1856), painted in 1812 and kept in the Museum of Fine Arts in Amiens. The lower part decorated with a mirror. Good condition.
French or Russian work from the end of the 19th century.
