Is joined a page recto-verso of original drawings in color heightened by Signac forming postage stamp of all the paintings contained in the case that he sends him for his exhibition. Theo Van Rysselberghe, a Belgian painter, close to anarchist ideas, was a close friend of Signac of whom he made several portraits.
Like him, he perfected the technique of divisionism, a technique that consists of juxtaposing small dots of pure color on the canvas to obtain an optical mixture.
