Tile with floral decoration Siliceous paste with polychrome decoration painted under transparent colorless glaze. Damascus, probably 1570-90. 25,5 x 21,4 cm This tile presents a painted decoration in cobalt, turquoise, green and eggplant on a white background, with a mandorla decorated with arabesques, a tulip, carnations and flowers, bordered by a frieze of scrolls and white palmettes in reserve on a cobalt blue background. A tile from the same group, with a similar decoration on a white background, is published in Millner, A.
