Exhibition Biennale des Antiquaires, 1972, stand La Bourgogne Bibliography Collection Joseph Altounian - L'antiquaire des musées, l'ami des artistes, catalog de vente Artcurial, 18 septembre 2019, lot 307, reproduced p. 230 This amaranth chest of drawers comes from the former Altounian collection (see fig. 1) It is topped with a Northern Breche marble top and opens to three drawers on two rows of curved crossbow. The keyholes are hidden under a rich rocaille ornamentation. The falls and the sabots which join through a small baguette with grenetis underlines the camber of the feet. A shell with leafy scrolls decorates the apron.
