MANUSCRIT. - CAHIER DE RECETTES de cuisine]. S.l., late 18th and 19th c.]. In-4, under blue cover, of which 33 ff.n.ch. are used, the others remained blank, soft vellum folder with flap, with lace (Binding of the time). Notebook containing a hundred recipes written by various hands at the turn of the 19th century. More than 80 are culinary recipes: cooked veal dumplings; court-bouillon en maigre; quenelles de Givey; veal liver; chicken fricassee and blanquette; dry rice cake, etc. But there are also recipes for preserving green beans, for preserving sorrel, for degreasing silk, for making ink, for varnishing tiles, for gluing tiles, for making blue color, as well as some medical remedies.
