Rifle of Versailles model An XII, with flint transformed with percussion. Barrel with sides, rifled, slightly tromblonné, with rise model 1829 of artillery. Flat body lock stamped "MRE IMPLE DE VERSAILLES" and punched. Hound with round body. Punched brass fittings. Iron follower. Walnut stock with cheekpiece (small period grooves). Length 64,7. Total length : 103,9 cm. A.B.E. These rifles of period First Empire would have been modified, used by the hunters with foot at the time of the conquest of Algeria.
