George II style 18K (750) gold circular box, decorated with vertical stripes, the lid hinged by a pusher is inlaid with a radiating pattern of two types of agate plating alternated with black stone rays. Good condition. England, circa 1760. Bears French prestige hallmarks of Paris, 1737 and of the silversmith Gabriel Gallois. On the reverse side an engraved inventory number: SH22257. H.3 x D.4,3 cm.
