Lectern in wrought iron with gold highlights, decoration of fillings, speckles, rosettes, tetramorph, lettering SD and LD, gold shield with four pals gules, crest. Inscriptions in principio erat verbum "In the beginning was the Word" (slight oxidation, wear to the gilding). Spain, circa 1500. Height : 45 cm. 45 cm - Width : 41 cm Wrought iron lecterns are rare. One was part of the Henry d'Allemagne collection and is now kept in the Le Secq des Tournnelles museum in Rouen.
