Diadème des Ida ou Nadif
Southern Morocco, Anti-Atlas, Taroudant region, late 19th - 20th century Silver, consisting of three rectangular articulated plates, decorated with niello, enamelled in yellow and green, and filigree, enhanced with red glass cabochons, sewn on leather band, decorated with two rows of pendants. L. of the frontal : 29 cm. H. of a pendant: 14 cm Gross weight : 360g. Silver 800 thousandths Coins dated : 1299H. and 1321H. We join earrings, also in silver niello heightened by yellow and green enamels and red glass cabochons, decorated with pendants and coins, joined by a chain. A Ida ou Nadif silver nielled and enamelled diadem, Taroudant area, Atlas mountains, late 19th - early 20th century, attached a pair of earing pendants. Provenance: Collection of Madame R., resident in Morocco, 1950-1970.
