The scene is a Rest in Egypt of the Holy Family engraved by Francesco Brizio, an Italian painter and engraver of the Bolognese school, active in the early Baroque period. Also known as Nosadella, he was initially a pupil of Bartolomeo Passarotti, and later became a pupil of Agostino and Ludovico Carracci.
