Mounted at the upper corners under mount and framed under glass. Beautiful geometric composition by the Russian-French artist Sonia Delaunay-Terk (1885-1979). From the year 1931 are known primarily fabric designs of the artist, so possibly this composition was also worked out for a fabric design. - Exhibition: Karo-Dame. Aarau, Argauer Kunsthaus, 1995. p. 180A (with illustration). - Verso with remains of an old mounting, in the lower white margin there with tears, paper in the passe-partout somewhat faded, margins browned and somewhat stained. - The copy of a short expertise of the Fundacion Arcontit dated 19.04.2017 with colored work illustration is available. The original of the expertise was signed by the holders of the Droit morale de l'artiste (Jean Louis Delaunay and Richard Riss), the work was marked with a reference number: 1220. - Provenance: Collection Dr. Gerhard Cromme, Essen.
