The artist Tony Fritz-Vilars (1910-1986) originally came from England and - according to rumors - was an illegitimate scion of the royal family, who, endowed with financial means, was arranged by a notary for adoption into the Vilars family in Rouen. He was active as a writer and painter in the environment of Art Brut. - Verso with newspaper remnants, otherwise very well preserved.
