Elaine Lustig Cohen (1927-2016) is considered an influential American book designer of the 50s/60s and later worked as a freelance media artist. Both letters are addressed to antiquarian, artist, and author Sibylle Kaldewey. Lustig Cohen summarizes her experiences in the spring of 1995 and thanks her "for all the little bits of collage material."
