The Hague, 1939-41. 6 postcards, 6 letters of 1-2 pp. (mostly half sheet format landscape, 1 with recipient's annotations), 6 invoices, 1 reminder, the edited correction sheets of list 10 "Zoölogia I: Vertebrata," the final list, and list 11 "Reisen - Tafelwerke - Varia." Enclosed:typed copy of Waltke's letter to Junk as well as two postcards and a letter from Junk's branch in Leipzig, the bookstore Carl Fr. Fleischer. - Despite the circumstances of the time, not insignificant mailings of views and orders of bird works (Brehm, Bonaparte, 10 volumes of Buffon at almost 1000 Reichsmark, Dubois, Riesenthal), lost parcels, certificates of urgency for importation into Germany, etc. - Signs of rolling and creasing, some tears. #
