From the start of his career in 1954, he exhibited at the Salon des Céramistes et des Métiers d'Art. As a ceramist, he became President of the Chambre syndicale des Céramistes et Ateliers d'Art de France. In addition to his vases, Jacques Blin has produced a number of glazed tiles engraved with reserve motifs, which he places on coffee table tops whose solid wood base ensures stability and contrast.
