Rustic milking
Gunnar Aagaard Andersen was a multifaceted artist. He did not limit himself to pictorial art but worked also with scenography; or furniture design. He was fiercely experimental, which is also evident in his furniture design.
He turned a loving hand to the milking stool commonly used on farms in earlier days. The stool was presented by the original producer, PP Møbler at Den Permanente exhibition in Copenhagen in 1980.
The rustic stool has been reincarnated as this exceptionally rare stool in ash with seat composed of bent slats.
