Description
Sloping desk with front and sides very slightly curved in marquetry all sides of rosewood, the flap forming a writing desk and exposing four niches, six small drawers and a secret compartment, the belt opening by three drawers on two rows, the lower rail moved. The whole resting on four cambered feet fitted with small bronze shoes. Stamped by Jean-Baptiste HÉDOUIN, received Master on May 22, 1738. Louis XV period. 95 x 96 x 50 cm.
