Silver lidded box as a drum stamped city mark Porto (after 1938) with fineness 833, maker mark David Ferreira Porto as well as further stamp LF in the coat of arms, box as drum in the style of the carnival drums used in Portugal for the festival Senhora d'Agonia, round body with attached (stand) rings on top and bottom, these connected with twisted wire coils, hinged lid on the back which fits into the upper ring, lid knob made of drum sticks and wind instrument on a small mounted plate made of music accessories in relief, slight signs of age and usage, h ca. 13,5 cm, g approx. 420 g.
