A Paris silver-mounted perfume set Comprising six silver-mounted cut glass bottles, a beaker with a gadrooned saucer and a small funnel. The bottles bearing hand-written labels with titles such as "Peau d'Espagne", "Eau de Cologne", and "Eau d'Houbigant". In a silk-lined wooden case with Chinoiserie decor fitted with a mirror in the lid. With original lock, key missing. The lip of the beaker with a small breakage. H of box 12; W 15.3; D 15 cm. Paris, ca. 1750. The beaker and saucer with maker's mark François-Charles de Villers (Paris 1715 - 1751).
