Description

Cosmos. Original work "Scrooge in the city" made with gouache and spray paint, exclusively in favor of the operation "One tent one life". Signed. 235 x 77 cm Stéphane Pillon aka Cosmos (1969) works in Bondy and was one of the pioneers of tagging in Paris in the 1980s. It was then the beautiful time of Bando Boxer, TCG (The Crime Grang), Sheek, Kaze, Dozer or James and Meo. At that time, he worked with the pseudonym of Revolt Sas and was especially known for the famous duo he formed with his friend Kobal (aka Nash). In 2006, Cosmos crosses again the path of Jonone, met for the first time in 1996 at the Frigo's ground, (13th district of Paris) when he realized the big fresco with A.One and Sharp. He collaborates with him as an assistant and then works with other contemporary artists very popular on the art market (L'Atlas, Mr Chat, FenX...) Cosmos begins to paint on canvas in 2010, with ink and acrylic. His graffiti on canvas is an extension of his work in the street: an abstract work of paint throws inspired by Pollock. According to him, it is an inner energy that must bring out a lot of positivity for the person who contemplates his painting. The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, protective, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese technique of paper folding.
