Description

François Walthéry. Original work illustrating "Natasha dans l'eau" realized with graphite, felt pen and gouache; exclusively in favor of the operation "Une tente une vie". Signed. 235 x 77 cm Walthéry started his career very young in Peyo's studio. Supervised at the beginning by Will, he is directed towards the series "Jacky et Célestin", produced for Le Soir illustré. Between 1963 and 1966 under the pseudonym of Pop's, he drew four episodes and gradually developed his style. It is then that he tackles ''Benoît Brisefer'', a more ambitious series that the Master reserves for Spirou. At the same time, he starts his favorite character "Natacha, hôtesse de l'air" in 1967, but it is only in 1970 that this little determined woman arrives in Spirou. The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, protective due to its structure, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese technique of paper folding.
