Jan Bucquoy. Original work illustrating the Belgian flag, realized with gouache and spray paint; exclusively in favor of the operation "One tent one life". Signed. 235 x 77 cm Jan Bucquoy, born in 1945 in Harelbeke (Belgium), is a post-surrealist and situationist artist. He is a theater director, writer of numerous comics, film director and author of numerous happenings. He is also known for his intrepid interventions on television, his annual coup d'état in Brussels and his more or less durable museums, such as the Museum of Women or the Museum of Underwear, installed on the second floor of the Dolle Mol, a famous libertarian café in Brussels that he animated for many years. The latter has moved and is now located at n°123 rue Haute. The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, protective, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese technique of paper folding.
