Alain Poncelet. Original work realized with felt pen and gouache, exclusively in favor of the operation "One tent one life". Signed. 235 x 77 cm Illustrator and author of comics, Alain Poncelet has been publishing for fifteen years collections of illustrations and comics populated with legendary and bewitched creatures. The adventure began in 2005 with the publication of his first comic book by Nocturne: "Cinema Fantastic". This album is followed by two graphic novels "Catharsis" and "Rupture(s)". 2010 marks the beginning of the collaboration with the music group Skeptical Minds. The universe of the one and the other marry wonderfully. Alain is entrusted with the design of T-shirts, album covers and stage sets. In 2012, Alain participates in the collective project "Noir odyssée" on request of the Italian publisher Passenger Press. This album retraces the odyssey of Ulysses in an erotic comic version. Two other books are born at the Milanese publisher: "Apocalypse Ta-rot" and "Dead Art Book". For the 2017 edition of "Trolls & Legends", he declines the little Troll of Cuvée, mascot of the festival, in many versions called "Viking". He has also created a book dedicated to Motörhead. Alain also creates illustrations for the Motörheadbangers, the band's official fanclub. Alain is present every year, at the BIFFF. At the end of 2018, Alain embarks on the adventure "Azmandeh", the story of a ghoul who intends to clean up hell. Tireless draftsman, Alain never separates from his sketchbook and watercolors, in order n capture emotions, whenever the opportunity arises. His travel notebooks were the subject of an exhibition at the Folon Foundation in 2018 The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, protective due to its structure, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese technique of paper folding.
