L'assemblée des notables, circa 1787 Folded fan, the double sheet of engraved paper enhanced with gouache of King Louis XVI sitting with his brothers, the Counts of Provence and Artois, surrounded by the representatives of the Nobility and the Clergy. Calonne is represented on the left reading his speech. On the reverse side, extracts of the speeches of the king and Calonne, preceded by couplets of the "Ronde joyeuse": "Louis is unceasingly occupied / Of the happiness of his subjects / Let us sing with joy / Long live the good king of the French". Mounting in exotic wood. The head enhanced by a fine bone plate, the plumes underlined by a bone net. H.t. 28,3 cm-H.f. 13,5 cm (small wear)

Set of two fans, circa 1900 The first is a folded fan with an openwork frame, carved, gilded, painted and applied with mother-of-pearl leaf, decorated with scrolls of foliage and flowers, columns and dragons. Silk gauze leaf with gouache decoration of an elegant woman freeing a dove from its cage, (a few minor accidents), H 26 cm The second folded fan in engraved and silvered blond horn, the leaf decorated with a taffeta drapery embroidered with pastilles, stars and polished steel shuttles and inlaid with silk gauze, (a few stains), H 19 cm. Contained in a Duvelleroy box.

Two fans, late 18th century, folded fans, openwork, engraved and silvered mounts decorated with flowers and ornaments, painted cabretille leaves. The most remarkable is decorated with a woman and child (Tobie?) rescued by their guardian angel; on either side are two cartouches with loves, (wear, a few stains on the reverse, H. 27 cm. The second of the same type, restored, (plume broken in two).

Set of two fans, late 19th century A mother-of-pearl-mounted folded fan, the bezel set with a rhinestone. Cream satin leaf painted with a love scene led by two butterflies held by a blue ribbon. Signed, (slight wear), H.24.5 cm
