Description

Marini, Enrico (1969-).

India ink and watercolor on thick paper for this original illustration from the Scorpion universe. Published in the album Le procès Scorpion, in 2007. Trafficker of holy relics, Armando Catalano -called the Scorpion- is also a ladies' man. Son of a heretic burned alive and a man of the cloth, he carries a scorpion-shaped birthmark on his shoulder. His adventures lead him, accompanied by Méjaï and Armando, to the search for the Templars' treasure and to the discovery of his past. The proposed illustration perfectly expresses the atmosphere of this emblematic series, mixing romance, power struggle and great adventure. Signed. 44,4x37cm
