India ink on thick paper for this original plate n°3 from volume 6 of Les 7 vies de l'Epervier. Seemingly simplistic, Juillard's realistic line and attention to historical detail make him the most authentic author to describe this era. In this page, the author gives us a sketch where we can discover the Condor Knight, a one-eyed and one-armed swordsman. The shots are modern and cinematographic, in sharp contrast to the period narrated. The scene ends dynamically with a fight. The rendering of the plates is striking, the whole spectacular.
