(Some natural oxidations, restorations of maintenance) Remarkable freshness of colors. Cardboard from Greek mythology of Oedipus. Queen Jocasta, wife of Oedipus, king of Thebes, carries in her arms her daughter Antigone. Two ladies of the company are talking in the foreground, in a polychrome flowery plant decoration. The scene has been updated for the 18th century with the costumes of the time. Border with figurative moldings with ribbons in leafy braces and angular acanthus leaves. Beautiful polychromy.
