Set of eight photographs mounted on 4 plates Seven unpublished views of the incredible collection of Father Moris. Antony Innoncent Moris, known as Father Moris (1866-1951), was one of the first collectors and dealers of primitive art. These rare photographs, dated 1924 and revealing an interior invaded by objects from Africa and Oceania, are all the more interesting as they predate the famous photographs from the Charles Ratton archives reproduced in 1983 by Raoul Lehuard (Arts d'Afrique No. 46) A photograph illustrating part of the Oldman collection is also part of this lot.
