The main theme is Oceania, with many photographs of objects from the Marquesas Islands, but also from New Zealand, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, and the Korvar area. The images, some of which are dated 1902 and 1912, illustrate the collections of the Trocadero Museum, the Louvre, and the Museum of La Rochelle, as well as the private collections of Paul Rupalley, Charles Blin, and the Boban Collection.
