Pair of Bergère armchairs, Restoration style; France, c 1830. Carved walnut and upholstery. Measurements: 86 x 58 x 60 cm (x2). Pair of bergère armchairs, restoration style, with delicately carved walnut structure. Both armchairs are supported and open to the outside. With regard to the wooden structure that can be seen in the legs, the waistband, the outer perimeter of the backrest and the arms of both armchairs, it should be noted that these do not have any type of ornamentation, leaving the design to the expressiveness of the material. With the exception of the front part of the armrests, where there is a carved border with the head of a swan folded over its neck. The grey upholstery has an intricate design in white, composed of geometric elements that are repeated rhythmically over all the upholstered areas.
