Schuster, Kurt. 1906 Forst / Lausitz-1997 Dresden Still life with milk jug. Oil on hardboard, signed lower right, verso again fully signed. 40 x 46 cm. Simple moulding frame. Studied at the Dresden Art Academy 1923 - 1929 (with A.Drescher, G.Erler and Richard Müller); transferred to the Academy of Applied Arts, graduating as a commercial artist. Until 1940 he worked as a graphic artist for Zeiss-Ikon and as a freelance painter. Since 1947 he has worked as a freelance painter and graphic artist in Dresden.
