Small planter in blackened wood, inlaid with brass and tortoise shell (Chelonioidea spp) (pre-Convention) of turtle with red background, decorated with scrolls, resting on four cambered feet. Decorated with ormolu, such as: leaf frieze and flowered gallery, falls, sabots. Removable tray decorated with a trellis of white mother-of-pearl chips. Interior lining in green painted zinc. Louis XV style. H. 81 cm - Length : 42.5 cm - Width : 31.5 cm. A few lifts, cracks, accidents and damages, old restorations; shocks, notably to the gallery, a fall and three hooves to be reattached. Specimens in tortoiseshell of marine turtle Chelonioidea spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to June 1, 1947 and therefore in compliance with EC Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc. For a possible export, it will be up to the future buyer to inquire - prior to any purchase - with the customs of the country concerned, particularly if it is the United States. For an exit from the European Union, a CITES re-export will be necessary, this one being at the charge of the future buyer.
