Manuscript (not located) giving the statutes of the new order of chivalry created by Louis XI in Amboise on August 1, 1469, bearing this date and, on two annexed texts, those of July 16, 1469 and December 22, 1476. A large painted and illuminated vignette with the arms of a knight of St. Michael as a frontispiece (115 x 155 mm) and ornaments drawn in ink, mostly watercolored (lettering, headbands, endpapers). Spine rebound and other restorations to the binding and to the frontispiece.
