He asks the bookseller to send him, as he did for the previous ones, the new delivery "of the Botanical part of the voyage of Freyssinet" [Louis de Freycinet, Voyage autour du Monde). March 20. He thanks "for the beautiful gift you are giving me of the Plants of Urania", which he praised at the Academy of Sciences; but he is missing leaves 22 to 27. 27 April. He thanks for the sending of "the last delivery of the beautiful Botanique of M. Gaudichaud", but asks for the six missing deliveries, "the sending having been interrupted since I left my azyl" (allusion to his participation in the campaign of Morée); he reminds that he praised the work "in what I am doing for the voyage of Duperey"...
