OINOCHOE AND OLPE OVERPAINTED DATE: half IV sec. a. C. MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: pinkish figulina clay, shiny black paint, orange coloring, red sub-painting, modeled by fast lathe. Oinochoe with trilobed mouth, truncated cone-shaped neck with concave profile distinguished by a ring from the flattened shoulder, ovoid body tapered downwards, echinus foot, ribbon-like overlapping handle, set from the brim to the shoulder; subdivided in opaque red with false baccellation on the shoulder and horizontal olive shoot on the belly; olpe with everted and flattened lip, high cylindrical neck with concave profile and fluid connection with the truncated cone belly, ring foot, vertical ribbon handle; decorated on the maximum expansion with horizontal olive branch PRODUCTION: Apulian black glazed pottery, Xenon Group.
