KYLIX IONIC DATE: end VI sec. a. C. MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: beige figulina clay, glossy black paint, modeled by fast lathe. Slightly flared lip, distinct, truncated cone-shaped basin with rounded profile, trumpet foot, stick handles set obliquely below the brim and twisted upwards DECORATION: inside and lower part of the tank entirely painted, lip and handles spared. PRODUCTION: Apulian ceramics imitating the Ionic production. STATE OF CONSERVATION: a loop lacunose, chipped foot DIMENSIONS: h. cm 7.5, diam. Cm 12 ORIGIN: private collection, Lecce, Italy.
