THREE BANG CHIANG VASES DATE: 600-300 BC. MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: brown depurated clay, white mottling, red paint, modelled by slow lathe. Cup with recessed rim and globular body, cylindrical foot; olla with everted rim, cylindrical neck, fold at the base of the neck, truncated cone-shaped body, flat bottom; vase configured as a standing bird, without the head, with a small tail, cylindrical foot. DECORATION: decorated with stylized phytomorphic motifs in red and engraved. PRODUCTION: Thai pottery, Bang Chiang culture.
