OENOCHOE, WORKSHOP OF THE PAINTER OF KONNAKIS Magna Graecia, workshop of Gnathia, c. 375-350 B.C. Black glazed terracotta Rehauts of white and yellow ochre paint H. approx. 15 cm Provenance Former French collection, 1990s The pear-shaped body rests on a discoidal base. The neck is decorated with a concentric yellow band framed by a garland of white dots. In the center, a female profile linked to the frieze by a ribbon. The three-lobed lip is also decorated at the junction with the handle with a lion protome in white and yellow. Some chips at the handle and lip. Very good general preservation. A Gnathia black ware oinochoe with white and yellow pigments. Workshop of the Konnakis painter. The pear-shaped body rests on a discoidal base.
