OUSHABTI IN THE NAME OF PTAHEMWIA Egypt, New Kingdom, 20th dynasty, c. 1100 B.C. Siliceous earthenware with green glaze H. 14.2 cm Provenance Former French private collection In his mummiform sheath, he wears a large tripartite wig painted in black. The crossed hands are holding farming tools. The body is inscribed with a hieroglyphic column. A New-Kingom green faience glazed shabti of Ptahemwia. Figured mumimmiform with a tripartite wig. The hands crossed holding the hoes. The body is inscribed with a hieroglyphic column. Dynasty XX, ca. 1100 B.C.
