OUSHABTI IN THE NAME OF KHAEMWASET Egypt, New Kingdom, 19th dynasty, 13th century B.C. Earthenware with black and white glaze. Firing accident. H. 15 cm Provenance Former private collection acquired in the early 1980s Then by descent, private collection, 1998. In his mummiform girdle, he wears a rounded wig with a long lateral lock ending in a curl. With his arms crossed, he is holding farming tools. On the body, a painted hieroglyphic column showing name and title = Khaemouaset (fi ls of the king, priest-sem). A New-Kingdom white and black faience glazed usabti with the name of Khamwaset. In his mummiform sheath, he wears a rounded wig with the long side strand ending in a loop. On the body, painted hieroglyphic column withname and title = Khaemwaset (son of the king, priest-sem). Ca. Dynasty XIX, 13th century B.C
