Green glazed earthenware H. 18.4 cm Provenance Former French private collection, 1960s Then by descent to Madame S.L., France French private collection In his mummiform sheath. He wears a striped tripartite wig and a false beard. The arms are crossed, the hands are holding farming tools. The body inscribed with 10 registers of hieroglyphs. A saite green faience glazed shabti of Psametik. Figured mummiform. He wears a striated tripartite wig and wears a false beard. The arms crossed, the hands holding hoes.the body is inscribed with 10 registers of hieroglyphics evoking Chapter VI of the Book of the Dead. Ca. Dynasty XXVI, 664-525 B.C.
