ARTICULATED PENDANT Hellenistic art, 3rd century BC Gold pendant forming a triangle and composed of several parts: a circular element set with a garnet cabochon on which are fixed pendants decorated with gold beads and gold spheres on each side and attached to the central element representing an eagle (?) on a base. Decorated with granulation and twisted gold threads filed on the wings. H. 32 mm; 5 g Provenance French private collection. An eastern hellenistic gold articulated pendant with an eagle (?) in the center. Surmounted by a circular elements set with a cabochon garnet. Decoration with granulation and flatten twisted gold wires. Beautiful quality. Ca. 3rd century B.C.
