Khanjar, India, 19th/20th c. Double-edged Damascus blade with pronounced central ridge, reinforced at the tip (armor piercing). Handle made of blue-grey agate with applied or inlaid diamond pattern of gold wire?, red stones (rubies?) set on the interfaces and in the interstices. Ferrule and guard with gold and silver inlays. Wooden scabbard with brocade sheath, l. 41 cm.
